Starting with a comprehensive definition of language, Nancy Schwartz, Ph.D. will explain pragmatics, semantics, syntax and phonology, on both receptive and expressive levels. She will also discuss tools and methods for assessing each of these areas in children from ages 3 through 12. Dr. Schwartz has 30 years of experience working with children with language problems and, in particular, with children who are on the Autistic Spectrum and/or who have Speech Apraxia. |
