    Bayville Scream Park - Bayville Adventure Park

    Celebrate Halloween at Long Island's theme park with "Not so Scary" Days for the kids as well as spooky attractions including Bloodworth Haunted Mansion, voted one of the scariest on Long Island; Mystery Funhouse; The Temple of Terror; The Curse of Zombie Pirates; The Scare Shop; Creepy Café and more. Open daily, through November 8.

    Baby Yoga - Long Island Children's Museum
    Through November 20, 2009 - Garden City

    Moms and babies can experience various yoga poses, challening postures and calming restorative time in this 8-week class. Learn how to strengthen groiwng muscles, aid in digestion and promote better sleeping patterns for your baby. Dads and caregivers welcome. Babies should be at least six weeks old. The price will be prorated based on attendance. Through November 20.

    Little Farmers - Suffolk County Farm and Education Center
    Through December 15, 2009 - Yaphank

    Three-to five-year-olds explore the farm, meet and learn about animal friends. They'll enjoy a wagon ride, stories, songs, crafts and a snack each day. No siblings out of age range. Check online for class descriptions/dates. Mondays or Tuesdays, through December 15.

    Learn and Play - Suffolk County Farm and Education Center
    Through December 16, 2009 - Yaphank

    Preschoolers, ages 24-60 months, enjoy stories, crafts, a snack, animal visits and wagon rides. The program is parent/child interactive and age specific. No siblings out of age range for these sessions. Check online for class descriptions/dates. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, through December 16.

    Fall Country Kids - Suffolk County Farm and Education Center
    Through December 18, 2009 - Yaphank

    Preschoolers, their parents and siblings have fun on the farm with stories, crafts, snacks, animal visits and wagon rides. Ages 18 months - 5 years. Registration limited to parents and two or more siblings. Check online for class descriptions/dates. Tuesdays or Thursdays, through December 18.

    Ridder MiniArtMuseum for Children - Nassau County Museum of Art
    Through December 31, 2009 - Roslyn Harbor

    The first venue of its kind on Long Island, the MiniArtMuseum is devoted to family and children's programming and the miniaturist arts. 12-4:30pm, Tuesdays through Sundays. $5; $4 seniors 62 and up; $4 children ages 4-12. $2 parking fee on Saturdays and Sundays.

    Sculpture Park - Nassau County Museum of Art
    Through December 31, 2009 - Roslyn Harbor

    Stroll among more than 50 works situated on the museum's magnificent 145-acre property. Some of the works are monumental in size; all have been placed in a way that interacts with nature. Renowned artists represented include Botero, Calder and Rickey. 11am-4:45pm. $10; $8 seniors ages 62 and up; $4 children ages 4-12. $2 parking fee on Saturdays and Sundays.

    Mini-Golf Course and Batting Cage - Eisenhower Park
    Through December 31, 2009 - East Meadow

    The miniature-golf course and outdoor batting cage are open at 10:30 a.m. seven days a week, with last tokens sold at the batting cage at 7 p.m. and the last round of mini-golf taking place at 7:30 p.m. The golf course features two 18-hole courses with terraced landscaping.The batting cage includes nine individual stalls with three different speeds for baseball or softball. Schedule through December 31.

    Fun to be Fit: Building Healthy Bodies and Minds - The Children's Museum of the East End
    Through December 31, 2009 - Bridgehampton

    This new indoor active play space opens October 3. The exhibit nurtures cognitive and physical development and promotes physical fitness. Ongoing.

    KaleidoZone: Thinking of you: Portraits of family and friends - Long Island Children's Museum
    Through January 03, 2010 - Garden City

    Artist Jamie Kim presents a showcase of images inspired from memories of her childhood. Explore the large scale paintings, which bring together the past and present and the real and unreal. Through January 3.

    New Exhibit! Monkey King: A Story from China - Long Island Children's Museum
    Through January 03, 2010 - Garden City

    Meet the magical and endearing Monkey King and explore this classic Chinese story, A Journey to the West. Visitors will have the chance to join the mischievous and brave Monkey King on his magical journey to a far-away land; a journey that finds him creating havoc in the Heavenly Palace, meeting Buddha, and overcoming numerous challenges. Through January 3.

    Norman Rockwell - Nassau County Museum of Art
    Through January 03, 2010 - Roslyn Harbor

    This exhibit showcases the great illustrator Norman Rockwell's covers of the Saturday Evening Post from 1916 to 1963 as well as 48 of his paintings. Through January 3.
