Description: Backstage Bistro Award Winning singer, Jeff Macauley, brings his tribute to the lyrics of Oscar winner Norman Gimbel to Don't Tell Mama for three shows: Oct. 7, 21 and 28 at 7pm. Jeff will explore the work of under-the-radar Gimbel, the lyricist whose gorgeous words graced such standards as: "Killing Me Softly With His Song," "The Girl From Ipanema" and "Blusette," as well as the Oscar- winning theme of Norma Rae, "It Goes Like It Goes" and many other American pop standards and TV Themes. Andrea Marcovicci said of the Gimbel show: "Jeff was just terrific, this was such a delight." Macauley's Bistro Award was bestowed for his tribute show to Hollywood Icon Dinah Shore titled: "Mwah!
