· Flexible hours: 9 am-2 pm (Mondays, Thursdays, or Fridays), evenings (after 7:00 pm), weekends (after 12 noon and “as needed only”) · 30 years old · Master's Degree; certified as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (http://www.careerplanner.com/Job-Descriptions/Recreational-Therapists.cfm) and Child Life Specialist (http://childlife.org/The%20Child%20Life%20Profession/HowaChildLifeSpecialistCanHelpYou.cfm) · Infant, Child, and Adult CPR Certified (as of 8/07) · Over 12 years of experience working with children who have various disabilities and illnesses, and 18 years working with children of various ages (newborns to teenagers) · Child Care Style: I am very laid back, but I can set limits. I like to give children choices. I love watching children grow and explore their environment. It is important that they achieve their developmental milestones through various types of play. · I have a car, so use of a family car is optional. I have a perfectly clean record with a NY license. · Non-smoker · I live in White Plains · I love dogs, but I am allergic to cats (will provide basic pet care, if needed) · No housekeeping responsibilities (laundry, vacuuming, etc.), but I will keep the house neat and pick up after the children, and do simple children’s meal preparation/clean-up. · $20 per hour off the books or at least $25 on the books (up to 15 miles from White Plains) · References available upon request
