Oasis runs enriching summer programs with locations in Manhattan?s Central Park (ages 5-11), a program for younger children in Downtown Manhattan (ages 4-11), Bayside (ages 5-11) and Tarrytown (ages 5-11).  Activities include visual arts, sports and recreation, instructional swim, field trips and outdoor education.

The philosophy of Oasis revolves around creating exceptional programs and safe communities for children in which they can develop skills, make friends, and feel great about themselves.  Families agree that the defining characteristic is the staff, a mixture of teachers, coaches, college students and program specialists.  For families seeking a fun, safe and enriching summer program.

Oasis offers children an experience that is unrivaled by even the more expensive private day camp programs.  A teen travel component is also offered in Manhattan, and Bayside and Tarrytown which gives 12-14 year olds an opportunity to take a unique trip every day.  Flexible Enrollment.  Early Bird Discount (for Downtown, Bayside and Tarrytown).  Oasis also has locations on Long Island and in Northern New Jersey. Attend an Open House!  Call 1-800-317-1392 or visit www.oasischildren.com.

CRUISE SHOES: Three year-old Suri Cruise sports high heels on a regular basis. What's your take?

Little girls should wear flats- no exceptions!
It's unsafe.
High heels look cute no matter the age.
Why not? They'll learn to master heels by Kindergarten.
