Jason Gutlaizer has been the Director at Camps �R� Us Baldwin since 2011. With a strong background in camping, Jason draws upon his many years of experience to enhance Camps �R� Us programs and activities. He leads a dedicated staff, which fosters the growth and development of campers in a safe, nurturing environment. During the school year, Jason teaches advanced chemistry and AP chemistry at H. Frank Carey High School in Franklin Square. Jennifer Houston joined Camps �R� Us Northport in 2012, as a director and as a parent (her two sons also attend CRU Northport). She brings an exciting approach to camping, working closely with parents, campers, and staff to develop a strong sense of community on campus. During the school year, Jennifer teaches French as part of the World Languages Department at Half Hollow Hills High School West in Dix Hills.

Meet Coastal Sports Camp Director Nick Nowakowski, born and bred Long Islander. Nick is a product of Long Island sports, having grown up playing soccer. After playing Varsity Soccer at North Babylon High School, Nick played college soccer at Nassau Community College and Adelphi University. A trainer and indoor league manager for Coastal Soccer (www.coastalsoccerusa.com, Long Island?s premier soccer training company) since 2004, Nick has also been an avid adult league soccer player himself for the last ten years.

Established in 1992, Flips has been giving children a strong structured foundation for any sport they pursue. Pat and her staff at Flips provide children with a caring and loving environment in which they can excel in gymnastics. Flips gymnastics offers birthday parties, where trained professionals cater to the birthday child and make them feel unique. Gymnasts build confidence and self esteem when competing in house meets. In addition to gymnastics classes, Flips offers ballet, hip hop, break dancing and pre-school dance classes. Adult classes include body sculpting, zumba and gymnastics.

Andreas Lindberg returns to direct and oversee all aspects of Future Stars Day Camps at Farmingdale State College. He brings more than 15 years of coaching and camp experience and holds an M.A. in business administration from Long Island University. He is an active soccer coach throughout the year with the LIU-Post Men�s Soccer Program, Southampton Soccer Club, and the Brooklyn Knights. His credentials and experiences make him uniquely qualified to direct the diverse summer camp program that Future Stars offers for boys and girls in grades K-12. The summer day camp program at Greenlawn Equestrian Center introduces children aged 8+ to horses. It further develops their horsemanship and riding skills and improves their confidence around horses in a wholesome and nurturing environment. Campers will learn and practice all aspects of horsemanship and have daily riding instruction, while developing their independence and sense of responsibility. Dena and �Uncle Howie� Feinstein (brother and sister) are still the two biggest �kids� in the camping industry. �As adults, safety is always our first concern. Once the children are safe, we just want them to have the time of their lives,� they say, adding, �We are in the summer camp business because we love the children! Susanne Maggio (Director) has over ten years of experience working with children. She has five years of experience working as Director and holds a BA in Elementary Education, a MA in Childhood Education, and is a member of the NAEYC. Lauren Fours (Assistant Director) has six years of experience working with children, including children with special needs. She has her BA and has taken a variety of early childhood classes. She has experience working as a team leader in an Adventure Travel Camp and as a Group Leader in day camp.

Denise DiBella is a mother of three children and owner of Little Sunshine Playcenter. As a parent, she knows how difficult it is to find a program that accepts siblings. That?s why she has created summer camp and programs specifically with that issue in mind. "Miss Denise" believes that children are God's greatest blessings and the sole reason why she started this business in 2003. She runs the center an teaches all classes, so you can be assured that your child?s safety and happiness is her number one priority.

Mara Esposito became the Director of Education for Not Just Art in 2002. An award-winning former Seattle teacher with a background in human development and alternative education models, Mara has 20 years experience joyfully developing imaginative curriculum with students in preschool through graduate school. Eva Regulski has grown with Not Just Art since its beginning in 1992, eventually becoming the center's General Manager and Registrar. With a background in Communications, Eva is a master multi-tasker who loves working with families and children on a daily basis.

After finishing his football career and graduating from the University of Hawaii, Patrick Olchovy has come back to the Parisi Speed School as the Director of Operations. Here at the Parisi Speed School, we train a wide array of athletes?from professional athletes to five-year-olds. As the industry leader in performance enhancement, we will continue to deliver a positive training experience that improves speed of movement and strength of character.

SPORTIME Executive Multi-Sport Director, Joe Siegel, oversees all SPORTIME children’s summer camp programs. Joe holds a Master’s degree in physical education and has created a unique sports academy program that is implemented at all SPORTIME summer day camps. Children learn the fundamental skills of their favorite sports as well as game strategy and sportsmanship. Joe and his staff of motivated sports coaches, tennis and swim instructors and group counselors work together to create a truly memorable summer experience for all SPORTIME campers.

The McGuigan Family has owned and operated Superior Ice Rink for 38 years. They provide the local community with recreational ice skating and ice hockey activities. Open all year round for public skating, figure skating, learn-to-skate, youth and adult ice hockey programs. They offer summer hockey camps for all levels, staffed by professionals. Camps are offered throughout the summer for one week sessions at a time. Children ages 5 to 15 spend their day having a ?superior? time. Robert G. Polcha is Camp Director at the Knox School Summer Adventures, located in Nissequogue. Robert spent more than 20 years as a teacher, lifeguard, coach and camp director, which have taught him that a positive educational experience is the foundation of success for young people.Before joining Knox School Summer Adventures in 2003, Robert worked for Raynor Country Day Camp as the Aquatics Director, and for 21 years as an American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor, and private swim instructor.

Peter Trupia has been involved with children�s camps since 1971. In education for 32 years, his mentor was the camp industry icon Ben Appelbaum. He founded H.P.D.C. in the fall of 1992, running their first summer session in 1993. It became a family run camp in 2004. Peter is a standards visitor for the American Camp Association. Matt Pagliari is in his seventh year as director. An educator with more than 18 years of experience, Matt is in charge of the Anti-Bullying Program for the Jericho School District. He is also a member of the American Camp Association.
