Make fliers and place them near your local schools and playgrounds. I know quite a few nanies who do this and get work.

Am 21 year-old New School grad, have lived here for four years, glowing references and experience with kids ages 1-14. Very active, love hanging out with kids. Currently do lots of ad-hoc babysitting for 5-6 families, but looking to pick up a little more, nighttime or weekend. Any ideas? TIA.
