Children with learning differences can become more organized self-directed learners when they understand their thinking, feelings, and how they learn. At the TIEL Institute we focus on thinking and social emotional processes that form the foundation of learning. Using school assignments and projects, children learn to focus and reflect on information, make connections to what they already know, plan and carry out projects, and learn how to think logically as well as creatively.
