Mid-Island Y JCC Summer Camp

516-822-3535, x334 • summercamp@miyjcc.org An expansive, tree-lined 300+ acre property in Wheatley Heights just minutes from the Nassau-Suffolk County border. Our camp features 4 large swimming pools with diving areas & waterslide, rock wall, high & low ropes courses, zipline, baseball, tennis, softball, mini-golf, gaga, volleyball, kickball, soccer, music, dance, drama, playgrounds, arts & crafts, themed days, overnights, trips & more. Camp options include Day Camp, Sports Camps, Theatrical Camps, Travel Camps & Junior Counselors is co-ed and for children ages 5-14. We offer multiple-week and full sessions from June-August, 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Children are grouped by age and participate in traditional age-appropriate activities. New for 2013: - Bungee Trampoline

516-822-3535, x342 • rwitzer@miyjcc.or The Mid-Island Y JCC offers children ages 6 weeks-5 years a certified Early Childhood & Daycare facility for the summer. Camp options include toddler camp, preschool camp, kindergarten readiness and camp beginnings (½ in building and ½ at campground, while affording the opportunity to choose session length and/or after camp daycare based on need. Our camp boasts 5 outside play areas, dance, drama & movement, 3 air-conditioned gymnasium areas, Olympic-sized pool and red cross swim instruction, outdoor water play areas located in certified nature classroom, karate, daily sports instruction, special events, thematic weeks, camp show, and so much more. Children are grouped by age and participate in traditional age-appropriate activities. - Toddler Camp

(Kids In Special Services) Center for Special Needs at the Mid-Island Y JCC provides a comprehensive range of programs and services for children through adults and is partially funded by the Butler foundation. Programs include vacation respite, recreational classes, family support, and social skills classes. The Aspire Summer Camp is built to maximize social growth and create lasting friendships in both inclusionary and specialized group settings. Our unique summer program offers many choices.
