St. Vincent’s is now the only hospital in Fairfield County to offer an in-hospital, midwife-directed birthing center. The midwife experience offers continuous physical and emotional support by the midwife throughout pregnancy and during labor. And the needs of the family – mind, body and spirit – are also given special attention. This holistic approach does not in any way replace the traditional birth, but provides a more natural alternative for those who see it.
It’s another reason why you can always trust St. Vincent’s.
