Meet up with Food Network star chef Guy Fieri at the Fun and Fit family-friendly event, or introduce yourself to firefighters and officers at the library's Touch-A-Truck program in Fairfield. Dance & Sing Along: Hear funny and catchy songs by The Deedle Deedle Dees at the Hip Tot Music Fest, and party with an interactive musical celebration of fall at LICM. Halloween!: Dress up in your best Harry Potter charac- ter costume for a contest and scavenger hunt in Manhasset or Bay Shore on Long Island. Visit The Haunted Pumpkin Garden to see huge gourds from all over the world and for hands-on activities for kids, or get spooked at the Legend Celebration with ghost stories, magicians, treats, and old-fashioned games. Finally, walk among hundreds of scarecrows at the Invasion. Fall Fun: See Rockland County Sheriff's Department horses, enjoy live music, and more at Fall Apple Fest, and have an Amazing Animal Adventure with music, dance, art, and other kid-friendly activities. In Queens, celebrate the season's harvest at the Harvest Festival with activities for the whole family, or check out the Fall Harvest Festival for games, music, and pumpkins. Find more pumpkins at the carnival in Fairfield, or ride the zip line or try the giant bungee jump at the New Canaan Nature Center's annual fall fair. Then visit live animals and other nature-led activities at Sheldrake's Fall Festival in Westchester.
