Oh My Girls!, a healthy lifestyle club for girls on Long Island, recently added classes for girls with special needs to their offerings. OMG! offers cooking and fitness classes, as well as a health club that teaches girls to make healthy choices in a safe, parent-free, after-school environment.

The term OMG! has a new meaning as Oh My Girls! brings an after-school, parent-free, and carefree environment to girls where they are free to be unique individuals and make new friends in the process. According to owner Lisa Rosen, OMG! is the “first-ever health club designed exclusively for young girls in the area—everything a girl needs to be absolutely fabulous.” Rosen started the cooking, fitness, and health club to introduce healthy habits in a light-hearted safe haven where girls can be themselves.

One might think that Oh My Girls! had it all with a full commercial kitchen, fitness room, make-your-own-smoothie bar, apparel and accessories boutique, and a lounge for chatting, but in January, Rosen will add new classes to accommodate girls with special needs, ensuring they are included in all of the fun. The unique needs of these girls will certainly be met as the specially trained staff tailors the activities according to the girls’ abilities.

The OMG! staff teaches girls to make healthier versions of all of their favorite treats and conducts workshops to encourage girls to become the best versions of themselves. Ultimately, this one-stop, healthy-living, party shop helps girls improve grades, social skills, and self-esteem, preparing them for a successful future all while having fun.
