Is it possible to write and perform a 60-second version of a great book? Re-tell high-octane versions of the best in children's literature. Participants will pick the most important scenes, characters and lines and then speed-read through the finished product. Once you've learned how to edit, analyze, compromise and communicate, you'll use technology to enhance literary skills by creating an animated mini-movie trailer of one of your 60 second extravaganzas. The book this month is Coraline by Neil Gaiman. Grades 4-6, children under 12 must have a caregiver in the building. No registration.
