PM Pediatrics, a preeminent provider of after-hours pediatric urgent care, announced last week that it was selected as one of Modern Healthcare's Best Places to Work in Healthcare in 2011 -- one of only three New York-based companies to make the national list. PM Pediatrics ranks #13 in the "Small Companies" category and #61 overall.
Of the 327 healthcare companies that applied to the program, only 100 companies made the annual list. Modern Healthcare's Best Places to Work in Healthcare program recognizes outstanding employers in the healthcare industry on a national level.

Established in 2005, PM Pediatrics is an after-hours urgent care practice staffed by Pediatric Emergency Specialists who have special training in treating children in urgent situations while minimizing pain and unnecessary tests. With locations in Long Island, Westchester, and Queens, each site provides care and treatment for a broad array of illnesses and injuries including asthma, fever, dehydration, fractures, and wounds requiring stitches. Each practice features on-site digital X-ray and a comprehensive laboratory for immediate results from a broad range of tests. PM Pediatrics accepts most insurances and is open 365 days a year, from 5pm to midnight weekdays and from 12pm to midnight on weekends and holidays.
