LONG ISLAND'S LAUREN KRISTY: SOUTH BAY CRUISES

All aboard for family fun! The Lauren Kristy is a 65-foot, turn-of-the-century-style riverboat that sails from the Bay Shore Marina. You can take a virtual tour online, but nothing compares to experiencing the cruise firsthand. Enjoy a peaceful trip through the Great South Bay, along the shores of Fire Island. There are two enclosed decks, so no matter the weather, you can ride in comfort.

   The boat is available for private charter, but public cruises are also offered. There are luncheon and dinner cruises that sail for three hours, feature a buffet meal and cash bar; evening cruises have entertainment such as a DJ to make the trip even more fun.
