Karen Mason, Broadway star of Sunset Boulevard, Mama Mia, and Hairspray, is joining the staff at NYC Theater Arts Center at Queensborough Community College this summer. Mason will teach a Cabaret Workshop for teens produced by the Theatre Arts Center in Bayside. Kids ages 7-19 can audition all throughout May for the Cabaret Workshop, the Musical Theatre & Dance Workshop, and Teen Acting Ensemble. The camp offers workshops for four-weeks beginning in June. Students interested in auditioning should call 718-595-2905 for an appointment. Out-of-town students can submit a videotaped audition. For more information, visit www.TheatreArtsCenter.com.
