Rebecca Levey is a queen bee, keeping herself busy as a blogger, entrepreneur, and social media strategist. Her most recent venture is co-founding a website by and for tweens who review products and media they love. She is also the co-host of a weekly radio podcast. Her blog, Beccarama, is just as versatile as the rest of her life. Readers find topics ranging from travel, education, and where to find kid-friendly events in New York City. Her other passion is education advocacy, which has been nationally recognized by the Obama White House in 2011 for her work as the PTA co-president of her twin daughters’ New York City public elementary school. Rebecca takes on raising money for the public school in the face of budget cuts and overcrowding, two major problems faced by public city schools today.

Her blog posts, so good that they have been nationally syndicated by media outlets like The Washington Post, also have weekly features like Maternity Mondays where a guest blogger writes about the weekly accounts of being pregnant. Mostly, her blog highlights what it’s like raising her two daughters with her husband in the city. She writes about how she plans to tell her twins about the 9/11 attacks and what it’s like to send the kids away for seven weeks to camp during the summer.
