Is your child the victim of a cyber bully?
Declining grades, changes in eating and/or sleeping patterns, and reduced tolerance can all be signs that your child may be a victim of bullying, in whatever form it takes. So can increased sadness, anger, frustration and worry. Below are additional signs that your child may be experiencing cyberbullying in particular:
- He or she avoids the computer, cell phone, and other devices.
- He appears stressed when receiving e-mail, instant messages or text messages.
- She is withdrawing from family and friends, or acting reluctant to attend school and other activities.
- She seems to avoid conversations about computer and other device use.
