Description: Grammy Award winning saxophonist Joe Lovano joins the Juilliard Jazz Orchestra, conducted by James Burton III, on Tuesday, January 24 at 8 PM in Juilliard’s Peter Jay Sharp Theater. He performs big band arrangements of many of his own compositions, originally written for various ensembles. Among the albums he will draw from include: “Trio Fascination (1998),” “52nd Street Themes,” and his big band and symphony orchestra, “Symphonica (2008).” FREE tickets will be available beginning January 10 at the Kramer Box Office at Juilliard.
