Description: In addition to an art show opening, Rye Town Park in Westchester County, with a Long Island Sound beachfront and over 60 acres of landscape will be a great place for New Yorkers to view the fall foliage, predicted to be at its height the third week in October. The opening party will also feature free music with a jazz quarter, "The Pink & Green Cafe", and free admission, parking & refreshments.
The park will open the exhibition of David Tobey's welded steel sculpture by the Pond on Saturday afternoon, October 22nd from 2-4 p.m. The show will run through November 17th, and a portion of any proceeds from the sale of sculpture will benefit The Friends of Rye Town Park.
