And Blunt...Blunt’s just looking for love in all the wrong places. When the Rover blows into town broken hearts and mayhem are sure to follow. First performed in 1677 The Rover is one of the better known works of Aphra Behn, generally regarded as the first woman to earn her living by writing plays. At The Classically Forgotten Collaborative Reading Series, The Bent Quill Players stage extemporaneous readings of little performed plays from the classic period. Those who want to can show up early on the day and claim a part to perform during the reading. We’ll be foot loose and rehearsal free for this six reading series. Join us to meet new friends, mingle, and nibble on refreshments while enjoying some impromptu live theater.
