With Musical Director and arranger, Ethan Fein and a hot band, Kaye navigates both the dark and lighter side of life, genre bending as she rips into material from the best of the 20th and 21st centuries' songwriters including: Annie Lennox, Dar Williams, Bruce Springsteen and Rickie Lee Jones among others. This dyed-in-the-wool New Yorker's sense of humor, irony and outrage was born in the nooks and crannies of The Russian Tea Room, which her family owned in its heyday from 1947 to 1996. Kaye works a showroom like she's at a party with old friends.
