Description: For part one of Fragments, the Brentano Quartet has invited three of today's most imaginative composers to engage with unfinished pieces by Bach, Schubert and Shostakovich to weave compelling new musical works. The new compositions will be played alongside the original ones to create an exciting evening of dialogue between music of the past and music of our present.
